101學年度畢業生給尼泊爾孩子的信

Dear Friends in Nepal,
It is good to know you! We are students of Chang Fu Elementary School in Nantou, Taiwan. In our school, there are 10 teachers and 43 students. We have a volleyball team and a harmonica band. Our school is beautiful, so we like to go to school. What about your school? In our class, there are 12 students. 7 of us are in grade six and 5 of us are in grade five. We like doing homework, playing volleyball, play basketball and singing after school. Some of us like to play computer games and watch TV. Do you also like to do these? We really want to know more about you. Please tell us. How old are you? What do you like to eat? What animal do you like? How many students are there in your class? What do you like to do after school? What kind of books do you like to read? Is there a library in your school? Are there any insects in your school? These are what we want to know about you. We will be glad if you can tell us . We look forward to hearing from you soon. We wish you all the best. Best Regards, Joe, Alice, Brain, Eric, Mike, Young, Billy, Mark, Roger, Kiki, Gill and Cherry

100學年度畢業生給尼泊爾孩子的信

Dear friends in Nepal,
We are students who graduated from Chang Fu Elementary School last year. This is the first time we write a letter in English, so we are a little bit nervous. We hope that you can understand what we are talking about in this letter. There are only 43 students in Chang Fu, which is a small-sized elementary school. We studied here for six years and had a happy time. Last year, we had a charity sale of picture books created by our class. We donated all the money to “Lightening the Light—2011 Annapurna Program” led by Professor Hsieh of National Taiwan Sport University. By doing so, we hope that we can help children of our age who, like us, also live in remote areas. From the pictures on the Internet, we are also happy to see that the construction of water tanks is almost done. Hope that you can have sufficient clean water to use and grow up happily. In the past, we accepted a lot of help from many people. However, through the charity sale last year, we were all happy that we were able to help people as well. Thank you for giving us a chance to prove that we have grown up. We have learned to cherish our lives more. We hope that in the future you are able to give a hand to those who need help. Wish you good health and may happiness follow you wherever you go. Best regards,
