The letter to Nepal

Dear friends in Nepal,
Thank you for writing us a reply. We were glad to receive the letter. We were very happy to meet Principal Thapa in June. So we want to tell you about the picture books that Principal Thapa brought back with him.

We drew the first book in 2010. It is “The Journey of Heartseeds.” Heartseed is a special plant in Chang-Fu. There is a heart shape on each seed. We hope heartseeds can help us to spread love all over the world.  The second book is “The Exploration of Plum Genie.”  It is about a plum genie looking for a name. The third book is “Dancing with A Tall Tree” in 2012. It is about a bat living in our school. Bat is the logo of our school. The Chinese word for Bat is “fu” (). It sounds the same as “fu” in Chang-fu—the name of our school. We include two of the stories in this letter. We hope you like them. Do you write stories, too? Please tell us and write back.
